Maryann Landry is the Owner and Director of Pre-School Playmates. Formerly a first grade teacher, Mrs. Landry started her first school in 1980 and now operates both schools in Hingham and Abington. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day management of the programs Mrs. Landry is also responsible for developing the curriculum, supervising and training the staff and acts as the primary contact point for parents and the community. Mrs. Landry has 3 children of her own and she lives in Duxbury, MA.

Mrs. Christine Materia has been a lead teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 23 years. She also worked at a Head Start Program before joining our staff. She is Director qualified as well, has her degree in Education and is the curriculum coordinator as well as our Jr. Kindergarten teacher at Pre-School Playmates. All of Mrs. Materia’s years of experience and her incredible love for children make her an inspirational teacher at our school. She is married and has three children of her own.

Mrs. Elena Aherne has been a lead teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 20 years and has been our Kindergarten teacher for the past 11 years. She was also a first grade teacher before joining our staff. She is Director qualified and has her degree in Education. Mrs. Aherne’s warmth and love for all children brings a wonderful sense of security and happiness to her kindergarten classroom and to any classroom she is involved with.Her kindergarten children leave our program with an incredible love for learning while at the same time being totally prepared for first grade! She is married and has three children of her own.

Mrs. Karen Hollander has been a lead teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 20 years and has her degree in Education. Her 20 years of experience includes a wonderful sense of how to conduct a preschool classroom, how to develop a schedule that works for all children, and how to treat all children as individuals. She is a wonderful asset to our program. She is married with two children of her own.

Mrs. Paula Phillips has been a lead teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 9 years and worked in the East Bridgewater Schools for 8 years prior to that. She also has her degree in Education. Mrs. Phillips has wonderful curriculum ideas that she brings to her classroom as a result of all the years experience she has had as a teacher. She has a love for all children and always tries to make each child feel special every day. She is married with 3 children of her own.

Ms. AnnMarie Iacovino has been a lead teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 7 years. She was a lead teacher in other preschools before joining our staff and has her degree in Early Childhood Education. She is the lead teacher in our all day preschool program and has developed her program in a wonderful way so that the children are engaged in fun and exciting activities all day long. Her enthusiasm for teaching is evident in her classroom as we often hear from our parents how much the children love school and Ms. AnnMarie. She is recently married.

Mrs. Jeanne Derosier has been a teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 20 years. She is teacher qualified by the State EEC Program. She is a teacher in our preschool program and also helps out in our kindergarten and all day programs. Mrs. Derosier has an incredible love and patience for all children and makes every classroom she is in an extremely happy place to be. She also brings many great curriculum ideas to our school and is always looking for new ideas to make our program the best. She is married with one daughter.

Mrs. Donna Brandolini has been a teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 23 years. She is teacher qualified by the State EEC Program. She is currently a teacher in our half day preschool program but, during her 23 years, has worked in every program we have here at the school. Mrs. Brandolini has a sense of always knowing the right thing to do in any situation she is faced with concerning children. Her experience with children and her love for all children makes her an incredible asset to our school. She is married and has three children of her own.

Mrs. Marianne England has been a teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 18 years. She has worked in our Kindergarten program with Mrs. Aherne since it began in 1990 and is teacher qualified. Mrs. England has such a fun sense of humor that she brings joy and happiness to any classroom she is in. She has also been a teacher in many of our preschool classrooms and all the children know and love Mrs. England. Her years of experience make her a wonderful asset to our school. She is married and has three children of her own.

Mrs. Erinn McCleary has been a teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 5 Years. She works in our all day program as well as our half day program. She is currently teacher qualified by the State EEC Program and is pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has a real sense of when and why a certain child may need help and is always sure to be there when she is needed. The children love Mrs. McCleary and always ask her for help if they need it. Her love for children always is evident in her daily work with the children. Mrs. McCleary has two children of her own.

Ms. Pamela Murphy is a new teacher that joined us this year as part of our All Day Preschool Program. She is a recent graduate of Salve Regina University in Rhode Island where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Early Childhood Education. Pam has worked with young children and adolescents alike and we’re very excited about her joining our school!

Mrs. Marie Donnelly is a first year teacher at Pre-School Playmates. She is teacher qualified and being a mother herself gives her the ability to make each child feel special and unique. She is also very good at making all the children laugh with all of her funny stories she has to tell. Mrs. Donnelly has a wonderful way of making the children feel secure in whom they are.
